Edgar Lorenti's creations fall into a
category of art that maintains its value even if viewed
time after time. The level of details and
time that takes to create each artwork is astounding.
The scenes from Old French Quarter are projected into a
thick aluminum alloy with added colors to emphasize rich
details. There is only one Edgar Lorenti of
its kind that we found in New Orleans. |

Painting is the
greatest passion in his life. John lived in New
Orleans for many years while creating his
masterpieces in beautiful French Quarter.
His portfolio is inspired by the beauty and charm
of this historic place. Yet the
yearning to the European style prevails in
John's paintings. |

Nestor Frugs has lived in the
romantic French Quarter in New Orleans for many years
now. We did not ask him for how long because
his paintings tell the story. The scenes in
his water colors are from the past as he remembers it.
Although he looks at the busy and modern crowd, his eyes
remember the slow and peaceful days. The paintings
tell the French Quarter story that younger painters and
we all may only imagine. |

Lily Parish paintings are peaceful,
calming and thus express an ever lasting nostalgia to
romanticism. Lily transforms her visions of
New Orleans heritage and the surrounding Bayou by
combining peaceful pastel colors set in an impressionism
painting style. A gentle spot light
projected on the painting will always elevate it to a
center piece of any room. |

Dawn Neuneker's
unique artistic vision results in achieving
stunning contrast between the simplicity of
still nature and warmth and elegance of the
French Quarters oldest residents - the black
"Tuxedo Cats" The story of the
"Tuxedo Cats" originates from old stories passed
from generations to generations. The
cats apparently are the transformation of once
powerful and flamboyant French Quarter
aristocrats. One fact is for sure -
"Tuxedo Cat" despises Blue Dog but the time is
coming for the cats to prevail and return to
well deserved supremacy in the Arts. |
